Big Shout-out to Mae Ricardson Elementary School for raising cereal for Access!!! The Community 101 Students and their teachers took on a fundraiser/domino challenge and it was exceptionally fun and successful! What a gift for teachers to involve their students in community services. The Community 101 Students not only raised the cereal for Access, other teams were also working on fundraising projects to support Community Works and CASA. Great job students. Keep it up.
The leadership on this fundraiser from 4 th & 5th Grade Teachers Melody Thueson and India Bolding was energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring. Principal Katrina Douglas and vice-Principal Nancy Roby and the Mae Richardson staff got behind this and helped facilitate the success. Great Job to all the Team at Mae Richardson Elementary. The Mae Richardson PTA worked hard to help make this happen. Kellie Hobbs put in a lot of extra time and efforts to support the project, the students and the staff.
We are lucky to have such a great community.
Sincerely, Sherm's
